Prof. Nir Giladi M.D, FAAN, FEAN
Prof. Giladi is the chairman of the Neurological Institute at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center – Ichilov. He is a full professor, the incumbent of Sieratzki Chair of Neurology, Director of the Aufzien Center for Treatment and Prevention of Parkinson's disease at Sackler School of Medicine, Sagol School of Neurosciences in Tel Aviv University. His private Clinic is at "Ichilov Top", Weizmann Street 14 in Tel Aviv.
As the Chairman of the Neurological Institute in Ichilov, he handles all neurological disorders. His main interest, unique experience and special knowledge is in regards to walking disturbances, balance and fall problems, diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson's disease and Parkinsonian disorders, as well as other movement disorders such as tics, tremor, involuntary movements like dystonia and chorea. He is also an expert in the relationship between cognition, movement and emotional disorders such as anxiety and depression and has unique experience in the diagnosis and .treatment of side effects of antipsychotics drugs. Over the past decade Prof. Giladi is among the world leaders in genetic Parkinson and he is involved in the development of many new drugs and non-medical interventions in Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders. His clinic is focusing on accurate diagnosis, modifying the mode of progression and improving the quality of life of people with different movement disorders.
